Poker is a card game in which players place bets of chips and win or lose them. While the game involves chance and risk, it also uses strategic thinking based on probability and psychology. The game is played in casinos and card rooms around the world.<\/p>\n
There are dozens of different games of poker, but they all follow the same basic rules. In most of the games, players must put up a forced bet of one or more chips before they are dealt cards. Once the cards are dealt, a round of betting takes place. Then, the players show their hands and the person with the best hand wins.
